Who from the Netherlands fly via London to the Caribbean does so often with British Airways. They take care of these flights as a codeshare with Carbbean Airlines. These flights are often cheaper than, say, direct flights with KLM. Caribbean Airlines offers flights to and from Paramaribo and St. Maarten. From these destinations will also be flown to other cities in North and South America.
Caribbean Airlines is the national airline of Trinidad and Tobago. The Government of Trinidad and Tobago is the sole owner of the company. Their main base is Piarco International Airport in Trinidad. The company started conducting flights in January 2007, and is therefore daaarmee a very young company. They then replaced their predecessor BWIA West Indies Airways. Their headquarters is located in Piarco, Trinidad.
Likely to be made plans in 2010 for the acquisition of Air Jamaica. If it continues Caribbean Airlines is the largest airline in the region. They cater mainly scheduled flights between the Caribbean and North and South America, and they extend their reach by providing in cooperation with British Airways flights to and from London, England. Grenada, St. Vincent and St. Lucia have been mentioned as possible future destinations.
Like so many community people also have a frequent flyer program. This can be spared for free flights, upgrades or other products. The program is called Club Caribbean.

The Bombardier are only used for destinations Trinidad, Tobago, Barbados and Venezuela. For all other destinations, the larger Boeing aircraft are deployed, which can accommodate around 150 passengers.
