Brussels Airlines is the Belgian airline based in the capital Brussels. Brussels Airlines offers flights to dozens of destinations in Europe and Israel, and also sells tickets for long-haul flights to East, Central and West Africa. They also do charter flights to popular holiday destinations in countries including Spain, Portugal, Turkey and Italy.

Brussels Airlines

Brussels Airlines was founded after the creation of SN Brussels Airlines and Virgin Express. In April 2005 closed SN Airholding, the company behind SNBA an agreement with Richard Branson for the control of Virgin Express. In March 2006 SNBA and Virgin Express made their merger was announced and thus continue as one company. In November 2006 the new name, Brussels Airlines was announced at a press conference in Brussels. Brussels Airlines began flying on March 25, 2007. However, never forget the prices of different companies to compare, since there can sometimes come unexpected things!
The company hopes to achieve a 55% market share in terms Brussels Airport and fly from Brussels. Brussels Airlines will fly more long-haul routes, especially to North America, and will try to improve the situation for the African market. The company also made known its ambition to increase the fleet of aircraft that can fly long distances. It started with three A330-300's, and in January 2007 took over a fourth of the troubled Air Madrid.

Service

On European flights, Brussels Airlines offers two types of tickets, b-flex and b-light:
  • B-flex is the most expensive type, you will get full service including catering and a newspaper.
  • B-light is the least expensive type, drink and snack fee can be obtained.

Long afstaden, plus flights to Helsinki, Moscow and Tel Aviv, Brussels Airlines has traditionelel economy and business classes.
