Jet Airways is an Indian airline based in Mumbai, India. The parent company of this company Tail Winds Limited. There are plans for expansion of the route network, where the cities of San Francisco, Los Angeles and Vancouver in the near future likely to be added.
Jet Air has a share of around 30% on the Indian domestic market. This includes the low-cost subsidiary JetLite. However, there is lately more and more competition from low costers as SpiceJet, Indigo and Go Air. Jet Air also does freight. This is done under the name Jet Cargo. The founder and current president of the airline Naresh Goyal. He is also chairman of Jetair Enterprises Ltd., which in turn is the owner of the brand name Jet Aiways.
The company is very well known when it comes to service, excel something particularly Asian society. Several times they have received awards for their service. Jet Aiways has partnerships with multiple airline include Brussels Airlines, British Airways, Qantas Airways, All Nippon Airways and Air Canada. This will be added in November 2008 United Airlines.
